Story Information

mostly canon-compliant ⤏ the incident still happened although instead of being killed by his delusion, it severely injured him. spending a few months in the cathedral, and many more resting and rehabilitating, he survived with minimal damage although the turmoil of seeing his sons drift apart after their fight causes him grief.a loving father ⤏ despite the pain he feels watching diluc and kaeya refuse to be part of each other's lives, he does his best to remain close to both his children and grandchildren, all of diluc and kaeya's adopted kids and even some strays he picked up along the way. he firmly believes that there's a home for everyone who needs it at the winery, no matter how much he struggles to express love in an understandable way. he will always provide a shoulder to lean on to anyone in need.tenth harbinger ⤏ before diluc was born, and through many of his early years, crepus ragnvindr held the position of the tenth of the eleven fatui harbingers, known as 'the phoenix', or more familiarly as 'red'. he swore himself to her majesty's service and to someone he loved dearly, the director. he considered rosalyne, pantalone, and pulcinella to be among his closer friends, and had great respect for the captain. he makes a point of drinking wine and letting a candle burn out on the anniversary of rosalyne's death each year.never a devout man ⤏ born and raised in mondstadt, he always had a reverence for the god of wind, barbatos, though upon his bestowment of the harbinger title, and swearing his loyalty to the tsaritsa, he took an oath that he feels negates him from the view of either archon. despite this, he often visits the mondstadt cathedral to check on barbara, rosaria, deacon dahlia, and the nuns who cared for his injury years ago.
